Overview

MyDataHub Portal is operated by Dattel Asia Group as part of an MDEC initiative. The portal helps Malaysian merchants check financing eligibility, submit applications, upload supporting documents, and track application progress using Bayarlah transaction data and related business information. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and how we protect it.

Information we collect

We may collect account details (name, email, role, sign-in activity), information you provide when signing in with Google (see Google Sign-In below), business and application information (business name, SSM registration number, Bayarlah merchant number, requested financing amount, application status), uploaded documents (such as MyKad, SSM certificates, bank statements, and Bayarlah transaction records), consent records, activity logs, and technical data needed to operate the portal (including authentication cookies and language preferences).

Google Sign-In

You may create an account or sign in using Google. If you choose Continue with Google, Google shares your Google account name and email address with MyDataHub Portal. We use that information only to create or authenticate your portal account, confirm your email address, keep you signed in, and send application-related notices. We do not access your Google contacts, Drive, or other Google services. We do not use Google account data for advertising, and we do not sell it. You can disconnect Google from your account page if another sign-in method is available, or contact us to request account changes. Google’s own privacy policy also applies to your use of Google Sign-In.

How we use your information

We use this information to create and manage accounts, verify email addresses, assess pre-approval eligibility, process financing applications, review uploaded documents, communicate application updates by email, support authorized staff workflows (including login-on-behalf where permitted), maintain portal security, and improve the service.

Sharing and disclosures

We may share relevant application and business information with authorized financing partners, data partners, and internal operations teams who need it to review, approve, or support an application. We may also use service providers for functions such as email delivery and hosting. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information where required by applicable law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the portal.

Storage, security, and retention

Data is stored in secured systems with role-based access controls. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. We retain information for as long as needed to operate the portal, process applications, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Uploaded documents and application records may be kept according to internal retention rules and partner requirements.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile display name from your account page and change your password at any time. If you have questions about your data, need a correction, or wish to raise a privacy request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms, and maintain session security. Your language preference may be stored in your browser so the portal can display content in English or Bahasa Malaysia. We also set first-party visitor and session identifiers (mdh_vid / mdh_sid) used only for portal usage analytics. You can sign out at any time to end your authenticated session.

First-party usage analytics

We collect limited first-party usage events (such as page views and key funnel actions) to understand portal traffic, referral links, and conversion steps. Events may include the page path, referral or campaign parameters, UI language preference, a coarse device class, and a one-way hashed form of your IP address — we do not store your full IP address for analytics. This is separate from any third-party analytics tools that may also be present on the site.
